Where creativity meets consistently

Are you struggling to find time for creativity & self-care?

Looking for a spark of inspiration every month?

Are you feeling stuck?

Is there interest to connect with other creatives?

If you answered yes to any of the above, you found your people. Welcome to the Monthly Sketchbook Clubyour self-care, creative co-working space.

Making art is far more than just a creative pastime—it’s a powerful activity that nurtures the mind, body, & soul.

Art workshops offer an enriching experience for individuals by fostering personal growth, creativity, & community connection.
Here are some of the key benefits:

  • Participants can explore their thoughts and experiences in a visually expressive way. This can be restorative and empowering.

    No art experience is required.

  • These workshops bring people together in a safe, supportive space where they can share their art process. This fosters a sense of belonging, reduces feelings of isolation, and strengthens communal bonds.

  • Art allows individuals to reflect on their inner world. Making art can serve as a form of self-exploration. There are many healing properties with art making.

  • When creating art, we are typically fully immersed in the process, staying present to the here and now. Engaging in art can feel like a meditative practice of being in the ‘flow.’

Why Join?

  • Boost Your Creativity

Do you ever feel like your creative spark is dimming? Or maybe it’s hard to carve time for art making. Whatever the case is, I hear you!

That’s why each month, we get together to engage in sketchbook prompts to generate ideas, listen to music, and exciting themes that’ll reignite your imagination. Let’s bring the fun back to your sketchbook!

  • Build a Consistent Habit

Are you struggling to create art regularly? Many you’d like some accountability in your creative practice.

One of the best ways to improve your art is simply by doing it more. Our monthly prompts will keep you on track, so your sketchbook becomes a place of growth rather than a collection of unfinished ideas.

  • Create Together

With our supportive community of like-minded sketchbook lovers, you’ll have a chance to show everyone your creative work by holding it up for others! You may be able see how others interpret the same prompt. Please note that this is not a space to process or share in-depth. Members will be muted and we will use this space to engage in the creative process and show others at the end if we wish!

Make Art!

No judgement. Let’s welcome all progress!
Lindsey will be there to share about the prompt and start the music. I will be sharing a prompt where members can participate in. Members are able to hold up their artwork if they’re interested at the end.

Lindsey*, as a facilitator, is bringing in her years of being an artist and facilitator of groups.

*Although this sketchbook club is facilitated by Lindsey, a licensed counselor and art therapist, they are non-clinical in nature. This means they are
focused on wellness and creative exploration rather than therapy & mental health treatment. These offerings are not a replacement for therapy either.

These workshops provide a space for participants to freely express themselves, connect with others, and find encouragement as they build and explore their creative projects.
The focus is on fostering support, self-care, and community in a non-judgmental, wellness-based environment.

“Creativity takes courage.”
